In 2002, my wife and I launched Finger Lakes Dental with a simple yet powerful vision: to change the way people feel about going to the dentist. We started as a modest one-doctor operation in a small two-treatment-room office, but it quickly blossomed. By our first anniversary, we had expanded to include five treatment rooms with a dedicated team of three assistants, 2.5 hygienists, and two front desk team members, achieving a first-year revenue of $400,000. The growth didn’t stop there.

In 2008, we scaled up significantly, adding a second doctor and additional staff while moving into a new 12-room facility. Our vision continued to expand, leading to the establishment of multiple new offices. From 2017 to 2023, I opened six more locations, including offices specializing in pediatric and orthodontics, each reflecting the same standard of excellence established at the original site. Today, I am proud to say Finger Lakes Dental Care stands as a testament to sustainable growth and success, with a team of 125 professionals, including 17 doctors and 26 hygienists, across seven offices generating gross revenue of $22 million.
